Link analytics is not full website analytics
PeekURL measures opens of the short link, which is useful for evaluating a shared entry point. It does not track browsing, conversions, or purchases after the visitor reaches the destination. Unique IP counts are estimates, not exact people.
Understand performance with aggregate data
A total click count alone cannot show whether a link reached different visitors. PeekURL also provides an estimated unique-IP count, date and hourly trends, and breakdowns for country, device, browser, and referrer.
These reports help compare channels and campaign timing, but they are not identity tracking or full website analytics. VPNs, shared networks, proxies, and browser privacy controls affect the available signals.

Limits of the data

Total clicks count every open. Unique-IP visitors deduplicate addresses within the selected period and are only an audience estimate.
Why is some traffic shown as direct?
Browsers, apps, privacy settings, and HTTPS policies may omit the referrer, leaving no reliable previous page to report.
