This tool reads QR Codes from images; it does not scan barcodes or decode damaged codes reliably.
A destination can still be unsafe. Review the domain carefully before opening it.

Is my QR Code image uploaded?

No. The image is decoded in your browser. Only the decoded text is sent to PeekURL when you ask us to check a URL.

Can I use a screenshot copied from my computer?

Yes. Copy the screenshot and press Ctrl+V on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+V on macOS, while this tool is open.

Why can’t my QR Code be read?

Try a larger, sharper image with better contrast. Make sure the QR Code is not cropped, blurred, tilted too far, or covered by glare.
