When is an image URL useful?
An image URL is useful in messages, forms, support replies, remote collaboration, and temporary file delivery. Instead of attaching the same file repeatedly, the sender can share one controlled link.
PeekURL displays the image on a media page and lets the sender add a description, retention period, and optional password. Files are served through a controlled endpoint, so expired, disabled, or locked links do not expose the media directly.

Sign in and choose an image
Open Image/Video in Manage Links, select a JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP image, and confirm the browser preview.

Set sharing conditions
Choose a retention period from one hour to permanent, then optionally add an image description and access password.

Upload and share
Copy the dedicated URL or download its QR code, then use Manage Links to review clicks, disable, or delete the link.
Privacy, security, and limits
- Use a strong password for private or sensitive images and send it only to intended recipients.
- Expired, disabled, or deleted links stop displaying the image; an existing URL cannot be updated to a different file.
- Child sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate imagery, pirated files, and other illegal or abusive content are prohibited.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I turn into a URL?
JPG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP images are supported. The file-size limit depends on the service configuration.
Can I password-protect an image URL?
Yes. Add an optional password before uploading; viewers must unlock the page before they can access the image.
Will my image appear in search results?
Media pages and file endpoints use controlled access, and short-link responses are marked not to be indexed. You should still protect the URL and password carefully.
Can I replace the image or password after uploading?
Not currently. Delete the original link and upload again if the file, retention period, or password needs to change.
